World Communications Day Welcome to the Australian Catholic Bishops Conference’s page for World Communications Day. In Australia, the day is celebrated on the Sixth Sunday of Easter (a week earlier than in many other countries). In 2022, it is celebrated of May 22. Each year, the Australian Catholic Media Council develops resources for parishes, schools and other Church ministries so that they might be able to celebrate the gifts of communication.
